"A certain matter makes more important than a gold in chest if we hold it and keep it in our hearts that this thing comes in the situation that makes us today"
When i was a kid i was wondering why people care too much about things that got no market value. Then i realize that the sense that they make it important is that, they place their emotion over that thing, it is a part of their past that make them one as we see them today.
One of the cheapest example of this is the wedding ring. It is not the gold, the diamonds or the design that makes it so important to a couple, even how cheap that ring is made of--even it is made out of plastic, a coin (it is illegal, try it for your own risk--they do that because coins are rustproof except if that is not authentic) or just simple straw. In that simple ring they can take their memories as they look at it everyday that "Oh, it is the best part of my life to marry this girl". It is true that market value is not important for the people who put their sentimental value in a certain object.
It is a sign that human is a living things carrying the sense of caring, even it is non or living things.
Sentimental value is important than a market value for the people who cares about themselves.
The importance of sentimental value
